
Tanya has over 18 years’ experience in the sporting landscape over a breadth of portfolios, her career has included seven years at Carlton Football Club heading up their membership department, whilst also havingspent a year at Melbourne Victory restructuring their consumer business.
Tanya has held an executive position at Hawthorn Football Club for over six years managing a range of portfolios and departments including key revenue streams in membership and merchandise as well as marketing, digital media, community and the Tasmanian operations. Recently having taken on the role at Hawthorn as General Manager – Strategic Projects.
She has a strong knowledge of not only the AFL but also has an interest in other sporting codes and learnings that come from management and operations of alternate sports.
Her current role sees her leading key strategic projects at the Club including the establishment of Hawthorn’s VFLW team, development and integration of women’s roles in football, managing a partnership with Hawks Netball and will be reviewing and delivering future business ventures.
Key achievements and highlights to date include ten consecutive years of record membership, strategic realignment and delivery of club community programs and studying at Harvard Business School in 2014.
